OVERSTORY

Our new collection OVERSTORY is an immersive tale of the wild woods and the wonder that’s waiting within the boughs.

Taking its name from the uppermost layer of the forest, OVERSTORY is inspired by the rare and endangered British temperate rainforests.

Layered with references to sacred trees, fungi, lichens, woodland creatures and hidden mycelial networks, the collection unfolds as a narrative of life, connection and regeneration, inviting us into one of Nature's most magical and biodiverse worlds.

The collection will also support the Thousand Year Trust, the only charity in the UK solely dedicated to the restoration of our Temperate Rainforest landscapes, safeguarding a legacy that will grow beyond us all.

The Thousand Year Trust

The Thousand Year Trust

The Thousand Year Trust is a charity in Britain dedicated to the research, protection and restoration of our temperate rainforests. Guided by a rigorous research programme and in partnership with leading academic institutions, the Trust brings ecological science directly to the landscape. Its name is a statement of intent: to restore these habitats, we must think in centuries, as the Sessile oak does, and act for the thousand-year future.

Today, temperate rainforest covers less than 1% of the British Isles, making its restoration both urgent and globally significant. Since its founding, the Trust has initiated a major restoration project in Cornwall, forged research and community partnerships, and begun work on Europe’s first Rainforest Research Station. The mission is clear and necessary: to triple the extent of temperate rainforest across Britain, beginning in Cornwall.
